The TCxWave system does not include any RS232 D-shell ports. To provide support for those requiring an RS232 connection, the 6140 now offers an optional USB -> RS232 adapter cable available via FC 5180.
The cable is internally serialized, such that once detected by the O/S and assigned a com designator, that com designator will remain the same regardless of which USB port the adapter is plugged into in that system.
